The Next Project began as a proof of concept – that a need for creative freelancers specifically photographers and videographers warranted it’s own platform in Australia.
The client wanted a brand that would be streamlined and clean, but friendly and fun – leaning on the networking nature of the platform and infusing it with a tech feel.
Our first pass at the website wireframes was a proof of concept while we waited for funding. We looked at how to create a feasible navigation experience that would make it feel easy to hire and find talent or jobs.
The initial concept for the wireframes was a clean design with calming more neutral colours and a minimalist interface. Given budget limitations – the essence of this design was carried forward but using the bones of a template that could carry through the functionality without the drastic initial development outlay.
The end result of the website is an easy to navigate, clean yet friendly UX where customers and clients can seamlessly find the right talent that suits them and manage their listings and payouts all in one place.
