The Next Project began as a proof of concept – that a need for creative freelancers specifically photographers and videographers warranted it’s own platform in Australia.
The client wanted a brand that would be streamlined and clean, but friendly and fun – leaning on the networking nature of the platform and infusing it with a tech feel.
The logo was made to be geometrically perfect, playing on the connector concept and finding the “perfect fit”. The detached dot fits perfectly into the gap – to reflect the essence of team and freelancer.

The initial concept for the wireframes was a clean design with calming more neutral colours and a minimalist interface. Given budget limitations – the essence of this design was carried forward but using the bones of a template that could carry through the functionality without the drastic initial development outlay.
